Racial Equity TrainingsTri-Cities Diversity & Inclusion Council is providing racial equity trainings to ELCP network members intended to "lead and facilitate the co-design of policy and system solutions with communities affected by them,” the curriculum has focused on centering community voice through a culture of belonging, shared accountability and governance, and applied learning using data-driven, community-centered practices. Our next workshop, Dismantling Systemic Inequities, will be hosted on Zoom from 1pm–3pm on 5/28/26. While the session will continue building on the planned curriculum, we also want to use part of the time as a discovery and listening space to better understand what care holders, nonprofit partners, and program staff need to feel supported in this learning environment. We encourage those joining us on May 28 to spend some time thinking about what support, resources, or learning approaches would help them feel more equipped and engaged in this space, and to be prepared to share during the session. If little or no feedback is shared during the discovery portion of the training, we will proceed with the workshop as designed. We look forward to seeing you there and continuing this learning journey together.
